Most store builders hand you a blank dashboard and a hundred settings. Kartrocket flips that: you describe your business in plain language, watch a real store build itself, then point at anything and say what to change. This page walks through what's actually live, feature by feature, so you know what you're getting before you type a word.
Nothing here is a mockup. Every capability below runs on a working storefront with a real checkout, real ₹ pricing, and real Shiprocket delivery behind it.
The AI builder: describe it, don't configure it
You tell Kartrocket what you sell and who you sell to - Hinglish is completely fine - and a real, working website assembles itself live while you watch. No drag-and-drop grid, no theme code, no plugin hunting.
Once it's up, editing is point-and-tell. Click a banner and say make this say Diwali sale till 5th, or point at a product and ask to lower the price. There are storefronts designed from each business's own material to start from, but you're never locked to one - the AI reshapes the store as your ask changes.
- Plain-language prompts, Hinglish accepted
- Point at any section and describe the change
- 62 working templates across fashion, beauty, food, jewellery, salons, services and more
Your storefront: catalog, pricing and product pages
The storefront handles the everyday retail basics properly. You get a product catalog with clean ₹ pricing, product detail pages with photos and descriptions, and collections to group items the way your buyers browse - by occasion, category, price band, whatever fits your trade.
If you already sell somewhere - an old website or a marketplace listing - you can import your catalog instead of retyping everything. Pages, galleries, business hours, and a location map are all part of the same store.
- Catalog with per-product ₹ pricing and detail pages
- Collections and galleries to organise browsing
- Import products from an existing site or marketplace
Checkout that can't be tampered with
Your customers can pay by COD, UPI, or card - the three ways Indians actually pay online. COD still drives a large share of orders for many first-time buyers, so it's there by default alongside prepaid options.
The important part is under the hood: every price is computed on the server, not in the browser. That means no one can edit a page's code to buy a ₹2,000 item for ₹20. You pay standard payment-gateway fees only on prepaid orders - no markup from us.
- COD, UPI and cards supported
- Prices calculated server-side, so checkout can't be manipulated
- Gateway fees are pass-through on prepaid orders only
Shipping through Shiprocket
Because Kartrocket comes from the Shiprocket team, shipping is built in rather than bolted on. Orders can ship to 24,000+ serviceable pincodes, and both you and your customer get tracking.
You pay actual courier charges at Shiprocket rates - a real pass-through cost, not a platform surcharge. There's no separate app or plugin fee to enable shipping.
Bookings, restaurants, leads and B2B
Kartrocket isn't only for product sellers. Salons and clinics can publish a service menu with durations, let customers book appointments, and collect deposits to cut no-shows. Restaurants get a photo menu, table reservations, and pickup or prepay ordering.
Services businesses that don't sell online can run enquiry forms that route straight to the owner's WhatsApp - the customer fills a form, you reply from your normal WhatsApp. Wholesalers get a B2B catalog with quote and RFQ flows so buyers can request pricing instead of checking out at retail rates.
- Salons/clinics: service menu, appointment booking, deposits
- Restaurants: photo menu, table reservations, pickup/prepay
- Services: enquiry forms that go to your WhatsApp
- B2B: catalog with quote/RFQ requests
A locked core so a bad prompt can't break your money path
This is the part that makes experimenting safe. Checkout, payments, and orders run on a locked commerce core the AI physically cannot edit. You can ask for any design change you like - a wrong instruction can never break the path that takes money.
Every change you make is saved as a version with one-click undo, and a broken section can never take the whole site down. So you can try things at 11pm before a sale without fear of waking up to a dead store.
- Payments and orders live on a core the AI can't touch
- Every edit is versioned with one-click undo
- One broken section never brings down the full site
